The St. Louis Rams are making a change at quarterback in hopes of jumpstarting their offense.
Head coach Jeff Fisher announced Monday that Nick Foles is being benched in favor of Case Keenum.
In his first year as the Rams’ starter, Foles was only completing 56.6 percent of his passes for 1,678 yards in nine games. He had thrown just seven touchdown passes against six interceptions.
Keenum will now get the nod. He has 10 games of NFL experience, all with the Houston Texans from 2013-14. He has only attempted 330 career passes, throwing for 2,195 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
