Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is a bit banged up as training camp goes on.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Foles was held out of practice on Monday with “upper body soreness,” though the issue is not considered serious.
On #Eagles QB Nick Foles, I don’t have specific injury info but the “upper-body soreness” is not a recurrence or the elbow issue that bugged him last year nor is it considered anything serious at this point, sources say. Will work to get more info.

The Eagles can’t really afford anything major happening to Foles, as Carson Wentz still isn’t close to game action and Foles is clearly the best option the Eagles have in his absence. Even if it doesn’t sound serious, quarterback injuries are always a scare. The Eagles are likely handling Foles with an abundance of caution. There’s no reason to push it at this point of camp.
