Odell Beckham ‘never thought’ Giants would start season 0-4
The New York Giants’ dumpster fire of a start to the 2017 season has even their star wide receiver in disbelief.
After the Giants lost Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a game-winning Nick Folk field goal to drop to 0-4 on the year, Pro Bowl wideout Odell Beckham Jr spoke on the state of affairs for the team.
“I would’ve never thought we’d be 0-4,” said Beckham, per Mike Vaccaro of the New York Post. “But that’s what our record is. You can’t cry about it. We just have to get that first win and go from there.”
After losing just five games in all of last year, the Giants seem to keep finding new and creative ways to take an L this year and now enter Week 5 as one of four NFL teams still looking for their first win. Beckham himself hasn’t helped much either with his middling production so far as well as his various antics, so it’s obvious that a teamwide wake-up call is in order for the G-Men.
