Odell Beckham wants nothing to do with preseason
After a preseason injury helped derail his 2017 season, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham isn’t super enthusiastic about playing in more exhibitions.
Beckham more or less confirmed that sentiment on Saturday, when he responded to a fan in agreement that he would, in a perfect world, play in exactly zero preseason games.

That’s going to be down to the team, but you can understand the desire. His season got off to a bad start when he sprained his ankle in the preseason last year, and he ended up breaking that same ankle in Week 5. Is it worth the risk? It’s hard to say yes.
