Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t said that much about his departure from the New York Giants, but on Monday, he gave us some insight into how he feels.
Beckham seemed to object to how Giants GM Dave Gettleman and the team have characterized him since his departure. On Monday, he replied to a fan who was critical of Gettleman’s recent comments by saying he simply wants “respect” from his former organization.
I gave them everything I had bruh bruh errr Sunday . Just put some respect on my name that’s all I’m sayin! I ain’t sayin nothin, n trust me I got a LOTTTTT of info that people don’t kno about so, so keep my name outcha mouth the way I do yalls ! Ya diggg

Beckham clearly viewed Gettleman’s recent comments about fixing a “culture problem” in New York as a shot at him, as did many others. He seems to feel he was disrespected by his former team as well.
After the trade, Beckham thanked the Giants and has been fairly quiet since. Gettleman’s recent quote seems to have stirred him to action, and the message is he was willing to move on, but if he’s going to be disrespected, he won’t be backing down.
