OJ Howard reportedly not available in trade
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to show that tight end OJ Howard is not available in trades.
A team that called the Bucs recently to talk about trading for Howard was told that the tight end is not available, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
When one team recently called the #Bucs on former 1st round TE OJ Howard, that team was told he’s not available, per me and @TomPelissero. That is where this stands right now.

Just last week, we published a report saying the Patriots had tried to trade for the tight end but were turned down. It’s unclear if this is a duplication of the same report or if this was another team trying to trade for Howard. Either way, the point is the Bucs are not moving Howard.
The No. 19 overall pick in 2017 out of Alabama, Howard only has 13 catches for 176 yards this season, which led some to think the Bucs might be willing to deal him.
