If you were one of the many people who felt that Danny Amendola and Olivia Culpo were one of the best couples of 2018, we have some bad news for you — Culpo has confirmed that the two are no longer dating.
In an appearance on “Access Hollywood” on Wednesday, Culpo was asked about her relationship with Amendola.
“We are broken up,” she said. “It’s just so fresh for me that I really don’t feel comfortable talking about it. Everybody goes through breakups in their life. Everybody has their own way of handling it. It’s something that I’m not going to get into at this moment, but I’m sure everyone can relate to heartbreak.”
Culpo, who is a model and former Miss USA, shared a lot of supportive photos and messages for Amendola during the New England Patriots’ postseason run last year. Speculation that the couple broke up began growing when Culpo unfollowed Amendola on Instagram recently, which might as well be the kiss of death for a relationship in 2018.
Amendola signed with the Miami Dolphins this offseason, and the breakup took place not long after that. For what it’s worth, Culpo is from Rhode Island. She reportedly dated a different one-time Patriots player before Amendola.
