Packers cornerback Tramon Williams, who had three tackles and two passes defended in Green Bay’s 10-3 win Thursday night, took a shot at Mitchell Trubisky after the game. Here’s the quote as shared by WFRV’s Lily Zhao:
Tramon Williams said “we knew if we could get Mitchell Trubisky to play quarterback we could win.”

This was the actual full quote…
“We wanted to make Mitch play quarterback. We knew they had a lot of weapons, we knew they were dangerous, we knew all of those things. But we knew if we could make Mitch play quarterback, that we’d have a chance.” https://t.co/BjVr58QsRt

Williams’ point is that Trubisky can beat you when he scrambles, but if you force him to stay in the pocket and throw the ball, he won’t beat you.
Williams is not wrong. Trubisky is 0-5 in his career when he throws more than 35 passes in a game. The Bears QB was 26/45 for 228 yards and an interception in the loss. He rushed three times for 11 yards.
