Green Bay Packers cornerback Kevin King offered a great quote about Mitchell Trubisky ahead of this weekend’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Entering his second season, Trubisky will be Chicago’s starting quarterback beginning Week 1. Trubisky did not play the first time the Bears and Packers played last year, so Green Bay will be getting just their second look at last year’s No. 2 overall pick.
Ahead of the Sunday’s game, King, a second-year player himself, offered this entry for “Quote of the Day” about his opponent.

With the Bears’ acquisition of Khalil Mack, expectations are higher around Chicago than they were a few weeks ago. For those expectations to be met, Trubisky will need to take a big step forward this season. If that starts this weekend, it could catch the Packers by surprise. After all, they either are playing things close to the vest, or they don’t know much about the QB.
