Pat Shurmur: Odell Beckham’s presence at OTAs ‘very encouraging’
The New York Giants and Odell Beckham Jr. appear to be in a fairly good place for the moment.
Despite his desire for a new contract, the star wide receiver is attending OTAs, and new coach Pat Shurmur is quite pleased with that development, calling it “very encouraging.”

Beckham has gone from being the subject of trade rumors to receiving assurances that he very much has a place on the roster. The two sides have been conciliatory lately, and Beckham’s decision to attend offseason workouts looks like a show of good faith. For now, all seems well, even if his long-term future remains somewhat murky.
