Patriots DC Brian Flores to interview for multiple head coaching jobs
New England Patriots assistant coach Brian Flores is in his first year as the team’s de facto offensive coordinator, and he may not stick around long enough to be given the official title.
With eight head coaching jobs having opened up at the conclusion of the regular season, Flores is expected to be interviewed by at least three teams and likely more. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos have all requested permission to interview Flores.

Flores has been linked to head coaching jobs over the last two seasons, and it seems like only a matter of time before he lands one. He has been with the Patriots organization since 2004 and followed a similar path to that of Matt Patricia, who is now the head coach of the Detroit Lions.
Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels gets most of the press and is also said to be a leading candidate for at least one top coaching job, but it’s possible that both he and Flores could leave New England this offseason.
