Pete Carroll does not sound interested in signing Antonio Brown
Pete Carroll no longer sounds interested in adding Antonio Brown to the Seattle Seahawks.
When the Oakland Raiders released Brown prior to the start of this season, the Seahawks were one of the teams that had interest in signing the wide receiver. Brown was released by the New England Patriots on Friday, leading a reporter to ask Carroll whether Seattle would consider adding Brown.
Pete Carroll on if Seahawks would consider Antonio Brown again. “We’re pretty well set right now,” Carroll said.

Carroll didn’t outright deny interest in Brown, but his answer seems to indicate they will not sign the receiver.
The Seahawks have Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf clicking with Russell Wilson so far and are 2-0. Why would they want to put up with a distraction the Patriots didn’t even want? Plus you have the NFL investigating claims against Brown. It all adds up to Brown being very undesirable — and risky — for teams to consider.
