Philip Rivers was fuming after his center Nick Hardwick failed to snap the ball on a 3rd-and-7 play, resulting in a delay of game penalty for the Chargers. San Diego had a 3rd-and-7 from their 23 late in the first quarter following a Broncos touchdown, and Rivers was desperately trying to signal to Hardwick that he wanted the snap. Hardwick couldn’t see it, because he never snapped the ball, leading Rivers to blow up.
The Chargers ended up punting, and Rivers somehow got involved with Eric Decker and grabbed Decker by the jersey.
