Raheem Mostert passed through six NFL organizations before ultimately sticking with the San Francisco 49ers, and the running back will start Sunday night’s Super Bowl.
Over a two-year span, Mostert spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Chicago Bears, with his stints with the Eagles and Jets coming as part of the practice squad. Then he landed with the 49ers, where he has become a valuable player who scored eight regular season rushing touchdowns and a 220-yard, four touchdown game in the NFC Championship.
That makes six NFL general managers who had Mostert but let him go, and as Mostert’s agent Brett Tessler pointed out on Sunday, only one of those six GMs still has a job.

Only one of the six GMs that cut my client Raheem Mostert is still employed today while he's starting in tonight's Super Bowl. Lesson is, nobody knows what you're capable of more than you so don't let anyone get in the way of your dreams!

Mostert was a nobody a few short years ago. Now everybody knows who he is. His agent may as well take a victory lap.
