Report: Rams could add another star to defense
The Los Angeles Rams have made it a habit of loading up on star players in the last few years. They could be poised to continue that trend as they eye another star free agent.
The Rams are hosting former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner for a visit, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The two sides have “mutual interest” in a deal.
The #Rams are loading up again? Sources say six-time All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner is visiting them and there is mutual interest in doing a deal. A potential huge defensive addition.

The 31-year-old Wagner is still playing at a very high level. In 2021, he was named to the All-Pro team for the eighth consecutive season, tallying 170 total tackles. The Seahawks made him a salary cap casualty as the team heads for a transitional period.
There was some talk that one of Wagner’s former teammates might recruit him to a different team. However, the Rams may have the inside track at this stage given their status as Super Bowl champions and contenders to repeat.
