Amid growing buzz that the Arizona Cardinals are looking long and hard at taking quarterback Kyler Murray first overall, speculation has grown about the future of last year’s first-round pick Josh Rosen.
One team is apparently already eyeing a potential Rosen trade if circumstances do happen to make him available. According to NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline, the Washington Redskins have “openly spoken” about swinging a trade for the former tenth overall pick.
Here in Indianapolis sources tell me the Washington Redskins have openly spoken about trading for Josh Rosen, IF the quarterback becomes available.

Washington would certainly make sense as an organization seeking a quarterback. Alex Smith’s NFL future is in serious doubt, and Colt McCoy probably isn’t a long-term answer at the position. Rosen would be a potential franchise quarterback on a team that might not have one right now.
