The Washington Redskins were unaware of safety Su’a Cravens’ plans to come back to the team, according to a report.
Cravens was not with Washington to open the season and was placed on the exempt/left team list amid questions about his desire to continue playing football. The former USC linebacker attended the Trojans’ game against Texas on Saturday night, and then on Sunday there was a report saying Cravens was expected to rejoin the team.
However, other reports say plans for Cravens to return to Washington are news to the team.

While matters mostly were kept quiet about what the issue was for Cravens, Washington coach Jay Gruden said the safety was dealing with personal issues. Maybe his road back won’t be quite so simple.
