San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman will miss some time with a calf strain, but not a serious one.
According to Jordan Schultz of ESPN, Sherman underwent an MRI and will be out 2-3 weeks with a strained calf suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 49ers are certain to lose Sherman when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on the road, which is a rather significant loss. It seems likely they’ll also be without him when they host the Arizona Cardinals and potentially a Monday night game at the Green Bay Packers.
All in all, it’s pretty manageable news for Sherman, who won’t miss much time. We’re still waiting on confirmation of what appears to be the much more serious injury to hit San Francisco on Sunday.
