The Seattle Seahawks are preparing to undergo several major changes to their defense this offseason, but one player who may remain is Richard Sherman.
Sherman is recovering from a torn Achilles’ tendon suffered in November. He also underwent a minor cleanup procedure on his right Achilles. Because of his injuries and his status rehabbing, he would not be able to pass a physical. That led NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport to say on Thursday that Sherman is likely to remain with the Seahawks.
In past offseasons, we have seen Sherman’s name in trade rumors, but with him unable to pass a physical, a trade would become difficult.

Sherman is under contract for $11 million in the upcoming season. He said last month that he expects to be back with the Seahawks.
Richard Sherman talked for a while after Seattle Sports Star banquet tonight. Asked if there's a question if he will be back with Seahawksin 2018 said "not in my mind.''
