Rob Gronkowski makes cameo appearance in new Katy Perry music video

There has been a bit of a trend lately with professional athletes making appearances in music videos, so of course it was only a matter of time before Rob Gronkowski got in on that action.

The official music video for Katy Perry’s new single “Swish Swish” was released this week. In addition to featuring Nicki Minaj, cameos are also made by Gronkowski, NBA star Karl Anthony-Towns, Bill Walton and some actors. Gronk played the role of a fan at a basketball game who is counting down the days until football season. You can see him at the 2:25 mark.

That makes two NFL stars in music videos in one month. As we showed you before, Marshawn Lynch played an even bigger role in the latest video from Macklemore.

And don’t worry, Gronk, it is almost football season. We can’t wait, either.
