Robert Griffin III and wife Rebecca are in the process of getting a divorce, according to a report.
Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot says the Browns quarterback has been separated from Rebecca (formerly Rebecca Liddicoat) for the past several months. RG3 is in the process of filing for a divorce, according to the report.
Griffin and his wife met at Baylor in 2009 where they were both students. RG3 proposed to Rebecca a year later in 2010, and the two were married in 2013 in Rebecca’s home state of Colorado.
The two have a daughter, Reese Ann Griffin, who was born last May:

Griffin was recently named the starting quarterback for the Browns. Cabot says Griffin is going through a tough time personally while working through the divorce.
Rebecca has always been reluctant to share the spotlight with her famous husband as this shows. Griffin’s popularity only exploded after they became engaged as he won the Heisman Trophy and was a Rookie of the Year in the NFL.
