Robert Griffin III and Rex Grossman have a secret handshake (Animated)
Kirk Cousins exceeded expectations for the Washington Redskins in their win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Filling in for the injured Robert Griffin III, the rookie out of Michigan State completed over 70% of his passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns to put the Redskins in a three-way tie atop the NFC East.
Washington’s other two quarterbacks, RG3 and backup Rex Grossman, seemed to enjoy Cousins’ performance. In fact, they were so impressed that they decided to bust out their secret handshake for the occasion. And hell yes it included a finger twirl. It may not have been quite as elaborate as this secret dap between Roger Goodell and an NFL draft pick, but it’s clearly something that they’ve practiced. A backup quarterback lighting it up has a way of bringing out the excitement in everyone.
