The New Orleans Saints suddenly need some extra help at running back, and they are bringing in a notable veteran for a free agent visit as they look to fill that void.

The Saints are hosting running back Kareem Hunt for a visit on Monday, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. The move comes with Alvin Kamara suspended for the first three games of the regular season, then a season-ending injury to depth option Eno Benjamin.

Hunt is still just 28, but has drawn little interest as a free agent this offseason. He saw his role diminished last year with the Cleveland Browns, where he only ran for 468 yards and three touchdowns. The Browns apparently had a big concern about him, which the rest of the league may share.

The Saints probably would not need much from Hunt. He would be a depth option to keep things shored up until Kamara returns to action in Week 4, so it might be a good fit.
