Saquon Barkley pulled off one of the most insane moves you will ever see on a football field during the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, and it sounds like even the NFL thought it was unnatural.
Barkley hurdled a defender while facing the complete opposite direction early in the second quarter of the Eagles’ 23-28 win over the Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The way Barkley leaped clean over his opponent looked like a scene from “The Matrix.” You can see the incredible video here.
Barkley discussed the play during the latest episode of the “Air it Out” podcast, which was released on Wednesday. Host AJ Greene joked that Barkley probably had to provide a urine sample because of the amazing display of athleticism, and Barkley confirmed that he “got drug tested right after the game.”
NFL drug tests are supposed to be completely random, so it was probably a coincidence that Barkley got tested. The star running back has been on an absolute tear lately. He rushed for 159 yards against Jacksonville and has 443 yards on the ground over the last three games.
Barkley is not the first Eagles star to get a visit from a sample collector after a big game, and he won’t be the last.
