Any team trading for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is reportedly going to have to pay a very steep price.
An NFL source told Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald that the Seahawks are seeking “a very good player plus a high draft pick” in exchange for Sherman.
Things get even more complicated when financial matters come into play, as Sherman would only want to go to a contender and would not be willing to give any money back on his current deal. His contract would cost any team over $13 million in salary cap hits in each of the two remaining years on the deal.

The player himself doesn’t believe he’s going to get dealt. With a price tag as high as this, it’s easy to understand why.
