A favorite is reportedly emerging in the Seattle Seahawks’ hunt for a new offensive coordinator.
New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak appears to be “in the driver’s seat” for Seattle’s opening, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Kubiak has also drawn interest from the Cleveland Browns, but the Seahawks are hosting him for a second in-person interview on Friday.
Feeling like Klint Kubiak is in the driver’s seat for the #Seahawks OC job right now. https://t.co/FkBmvhAPHF

The Seahawks parted ways with former offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb at the end of the season after the team finished in the bottom half of the league in points scored in 2024. Kubiak’s Saints were 24th in that department, but finished with a similar yardage total and more rushing yards than the Seahawks despite a slew of injuries and an arguably worse roster on paper. The Saints did look great in the first few weeks of the season before injuries started to take their toll.
Kubiak was a big add for the Saints last year, but they are letting him explore other opportunities after the team made a coaching change midseason. The Seahawks appear close to luring him as they look to try to get back to the playoffs in 2025.
