Report: Seahawks had no knowledge of Marshawn Lynch agreement with Raiders
Marshawn Lynch’s reported agreement with the Oakland Raiders has apparently come as news to the team that currently holds its rights.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Silver, the Seahawks did not know anything about Lynch reportedly coming to terms with Oakland, and have not yet commenced trade talks with the Raiders.
Seahawks were caught off guard by news of Marshawn/Raiders agreement. No trade talks had commenced as of then.

Lynch definitely doesn’t sound like he’s being very collaborative with Seattle on this, and why would he need to? That’s up to them and Oakland to figure out. There’s not much reason to believe it won’t get done at this point.
