Shane Ray can’t wait to ‘tear quarterbacks’ heads off’

Shane-Ray

The Denver Broncos traded up in the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night to select Shane Ray. The former Missouri linebacker believes he has gone to the perfect team.

After he was picked, Ray told Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports that he can’t wait to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks with Von Miller and company.

Shane Ray tells us he, Von Miller and the rest of the Broncos' pass rush are going to "tear quarterbacks' heads off." Figuratively. I think.

Ray had to have been relieved that he was selected in the first round. Some analysits predicted he could drop all the way to the third after he was arrested for possession of marijuana just days before the draft. While he’ll have to enter the NFL’s Phase 1 drug testing program, the Broncos must not be overly concerned.
