Shedeur Sanders did not lack confidence on Friday while speaking to reporters during Colorado’s Pro Day.
The Buffaloes quarterback put on a show in front of scouts and NFL executives throughout the Colorado football showcase held on campus in Boulder, Colo. The 23-year-old completed 58 of his 63 pass attempts, including an absolute bomb to Colorado wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.

During an interview with ESPN later that day, Sanders was asked about what he would need from his future NFL team to find success in the pro ranks. Shedeur has a “simple” answer, which ended with a warning directed at QB-needy teams who may pass on him in the upcoming draft.
“All I need is an opportunity,” said Sanders. “Simple. Whatever franchise wants to change their franchise, then it’s no doubt who to go with. I’ve done it, over, and over, and over. So you’ll be a fool not to pick me.”

There have been rumors that Sanders already has an idea of which team is going to draft him later this month.
With Miami’s Cam Ward largely expected to be the first QB off the board in the 2025 draft, several teams may end up passing on Sanders. There has even been speculation that Shedeur could tumble down draft boards when the time comes.
Shedeur sounds more than ready to make teams regret it.
