SoFi Stadium construction continues despite worker testing positive for coronavirus
A construction worker at the Los Angeles Rams’ SoFi Stadium site tested positive for the coronavirus, but work on the stadium will continue.
The worker is self-isolating and recovering, and those who came in contact with the individual have been notified. Workers are being made to follow social distancing guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.

Turner/AECOM Hunt said that project protocols are enforcing social distancing. "This includes limiting access to the personnel hoist, no gatherings over 10 people & those must maintain six foot separation… certain tasks that require close contact are suspended or re-sequenced."

The stadium is scheduled to open in July, so everyone involved is desperate to avoid a delay here given the team’s current stadium situation. Still, this demonstrates the risks of close contact right now. Hopefully the worker makes a full recovery.
