Mike Tomlin: Steelers disciplined Antonio Brown for missing meetings
The Pittsburgh Steelers are remaining tight-lipped about wide receiver Antonio Brown’s absence from Monday meetings.
Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Wednesday that he met privately with Brown after practice and disciplined him for his unexcused absence on Monday, but refused to discuss the situation any further.
Mike Tomlin says after practice that he met w/ Antonio Brown, that “there was discipline involved” for his missed Monday meetings and refused any further questions. #Steelers say Brown will address the media tomorrow.

Brown has yet to speak publicly, but is expected to do so on Thursday. His agent has only said that he was tending to a personal matter.
One has to wonder what the Steelers did to punish Brown. They’ve been criticized by some for losing control of the locker room and giving the players too much authority, so this might be a reasonable time to put a foot down and stamp some authority on the team.
