Report: Broncos’ Su’a Cravens to undergo knee surgery, placed on IR

Su'a Cravens

Denver Broncos safety Su’a Cravens will miss at least half the season after undergoing another knee surgery.

The Broncos placed Cravens on injured reserve Sunday, having made the decision to have a second surgery on his left knee in as many years, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Cravens had planned to play in 2018 after overcoming both the knee injury and concussions. The knee, it seems, was not quite as ready as it had seemed. Cravens played in the team’s final preseason game, but clearly wasn’t right. Denver picked up the former second-round pick in a March trade, but they won’t see him until at least their ninth game of the season, if at all.
