Report: Teddy Bridgewater seeking short-term deal in free agency
Teddy Bridgewater is facing a rather unique free agency situation, but he has a plan to try to re-establish his NFL career.
According to Calvin Watkins of Newsday, Bridgewater, who has hardly played in two years after a knee injury, is seeking a short-term deal in free agency to rebuild his value.

Short-term contracts like this are a risk — just ask this former Cleveland Brown — but it’s Bridgewater’s best option at this point. Few teams are going to go all-in on him after his injury, as it’s simply impossible to tell where he’s at as an NFL quarterback. A good year or two could really let him cash in next time he gets his shot at free agency.
