The Houston Texans on Tuesday placed tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz on injured reserve after his latest concussion.
Fiedorowicz, who was signed to an extension before the season began, sustained a concussion in the Texans’ loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend. That followed a concussion he also had late in training camp.
Fiedorowicz was a third-round pick out of Iowa in 2014 and broke out last season with 54 catches for 559 yards and four touchdowns. He had four catches for 46 yards on Sunday before being injured.
The Texans signed Fiedorowicz to a four-year extension before the season began that included $10 million guaranteed.
