The Houston Texans are so bad this season that their own players are sharing negative stuff about the team on social media.
On Sunday, Houston Chronicle writer John McClain tweeted a comment about the Astros that wasn’t exactly flattering for the 1-4 Texans. Did linebacker Whitney Mercilus agree with it? Here’s a screenshot that was captured by CBS Houston before Mercilus deleted his retweet:
It’s possible that Mercilus made a mistake, as he has been showcasing his support for the Astros via Twitter.

The more likely scenario is that Mercilus is frustrated, and rightfully so. The Texans couldn’t even win a home game against a team with an injured starting quarterback and a backup quarterback who may have been in even worse shape leading up to Thursday. These are not happy times in Houston.
