TJ Watt got hit with a WWE move during Sunday’s game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers star defender Watt was forced to leave his team’s Week 5 contest against the Indianapolis Colts. During the second quarter at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa., Watt was rushing Colts quarterback Daniel Jones and took an ugly-looking shot from Indianapolis offensive lineman Jalen Travis.
Video showed that Travis got Watt in the facemask and then extended his fingers directly into Watt’s face, poking him in the eye. Watt immediately stopped in his tracks and had to take off his helmet in pain.

The former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Watt was later seen holding an ice pack to his right eye on the Pittsburgh sideline.

No flag was thrown on the play for a facemask or other kind of personal foul. Fortunately though, Watt did manage to return in the third quarter wearing a visor on his helmet.
Watt was actually celebrating his 32nd birthday on Sunday, so that was a rather painful way to ring it in. The eight-time All-Pro defender is definitely a trooper though and has managed to overcome some other extremely difficult injuries over just the last year alone.
