New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is now up to 10 interceptions in the team’s first four games after tossing three of them in Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. But even despite Fitzpatrick’s woes, Jets head coach remains committed to his starting signal caller.
Bowles told reporters on Monday that doesn’t foresee any changes at the quarterback position for the time being, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Fitzpatrick has only managed 1,012 passing yards and four touchdowns so far this season to go along with the 10 picks as the Jets have opened the year 1-3. Nevertheless, he continues to receive public support from teammates and coaches alike.
The veteran deserves a bit of slack after missing time with the team over the offseason thanks to a contract dispute and going up against four strong defenses in a row in Cincinnati, Buffalo, Kansas City, and Seattle. With the Jets seemingly allergic to backup QB Geno Smith, we’ll see if Fitzpatrick can put together a stronger showing starting in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If not, Bowles may be forced to change his stance.
