The NFL Draft will be missing one of its most familiar faces this year, as ESPN analyst Todd McShay revealed on Thursday that he has contracted the coronavirus and will not be able to cover the event.
McShay said in a statement on social media that he has been at home recovering from COVID-19 and will have to miss the draft. He thanked the first responders and medical professionals who have helped him.

McShay has been with ESPN since 2006, and he and Mel Kiper Jr. have developed a friendly rivalry over the years that has become synonymous with NFL Draft coverage. The draft is already going to look a lot different this year since it is being held in a virtual setting, and not having McShay as part of the coverage will make it seem that much more unusual.
