Days before the Jacksonville Jaguars play their first NFL playoff game since 2023, Trevor Lawrence found himself at the center of a video that has gone viral on social media.
The said video showed the former Clemson Tigers star quarterback getting squatted by a woman at Pete’s Bar in Neptune Beach, Fla., according to the New York Post. It was an incredible feat, considering that the woman, Natasha Lane, was much smaller than the 6-foo-6, 213-pound Lawrence.
You can watch the video here.
Not many people are strong enough to do multiple squats while carrying a large human being, but Lane managed to pull it off, as though she was trying to audition for a position on the Jaguars’ offensive line.
On Wednesday, Lawrence addressed the viral clip.
“We can all move on now, I know you guys were worried about it,” the former top NFL draft pick told reporters, via a video shared by Rachel Phillips of First Coast News.
“Just having a good time, I guess. I don’t know how to describe this. I did not think that was going to happen. It was interesting. They have phones now. They record everything.”
Lawrence and the Jaguars were already having a good time long before that moment, as that took place following Jacksonville’s 41-7 win in Week 18 over the Tennessee Titans.
That victory officially clinched the AFC South title for the Jaguars, who will be playing Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card Round on Sunday at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
