The Dallas Cowboys probably won’t be drafting Tua Tagovailoa this year, but the quarterback would love to see it happen.
Tagovailoa spoke with NFL Network’s Steve Wyche for an interview feature. During the interview, Wyche asked if there was any team or system where Tagovailoa would want to play in.
“If you’re saying to me if I could choose what team I want to play on growing up, then I’d probably tell you the Cowboys. But they’re so far down (in the draft),” Tua answered.
When Wyche brought up the presence of Dak Prescott, Tagovailoa said, “I’ll learn under him.”
So @Tuaamann told @wyche89 what team he would love to play on…

The Cowboys are picking at No. 17 in April’s draft. The Lions and Dolphins are already playing mind games about who will be taking Tua, so we strongly believe the former Alabama quarterback will go in the top five.
Regardless, knowing that Tagovailoa wants to play for the Cowboys is something to keep in mind for the future. You can bet the topic will be brought up whenever he faces them. As for Prescott, the Cowboys may end up using the franchise tag on him.
