Twitter reacts to Trent Richardson being a touchdown machine
Trent Richardson is one of many players trying who are to resurrect their NFL careers in the inaugural season of the Alliance of American Football, and he has certainly proven that he can score touchdowns in his first three games with the new league.
Richardson scored a pair of touchdowns in the Birmingham Iron’s game against the Atlanta Legends on Sunday, giving him five in two-plus games. All five of the scores came from inside the 5-yard line. While the former No. 3 overall NFL Draft pick has not shown much in the open field, people are taking note of his power running.

Trent Richardson pounds his way in for his second TD of the day.
That's Richardson's 5th TD of the season.
Richardson also converted the two-point try on a short reception.@aafiron 20, @AafLegends 6 heading into the 4th quarter

Richardson averaged just 3.3 yards per carry in four NFL seasons, so rushing scores from a few yards out probably aren’t going to excite scouts. That said, he has basically acknowledged that he didn’t take the NFL seriously enough. Running guys over en route to the end zone shows that he cares. That’s a start.
