Report: At least two teams interested in Teddy Bridgewater
The New York Jets are attracting at least some trade interest in quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, at least two teams have made clear that they’d be interested in acquiring Bridgewater from the Jets, and the team is open to dealing him. The identity of the teams is unknown, but no offers have been made at this point, though there have been preliminary discussions.
Bridgewater has certainly turned some heads. He has gone 17-of-23 for 212 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during preseason, and has shown that he can still play in the NFL.
Bridgewater isn’t going to be able to start for the Jets, as they look likely to go with their standout rookie. That will likely free up a Bridgewater trade.
