TY Hilton suggests next contract will be his last
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is only just entering his 30s, but it sounds like he’s already thinking about the end of his career.
Hilton said Wednesday he is ready to sign a new contract, but that deal will be “it” for him.
TY Hilton says whatever the length of his next deal — 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, whatever it is — then "that'll be it for me." He's entering his ninth year in Indy.
"It's up to Mr. Irsay and Chris. I wanna be here."
He said he and the team had begun negotiations before Covid.

The 30-year-old is entering the final year of his current deal, though he doesn’t seem worried about getting another one. He has five 1,000-yard seasons to his name, and has been extremely productive for Indianapolis. He was limited in 2019 due to a calf injury, which definitely didn’t help the Colts’ offensive issues.
