A bad season for the Miami Dolphins has quickly become disastrous.
Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury during his team’s “Monday Night Football” game against the New York Jets this week. During the third quarter at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla., Hill came down with a 10-yard catch by the right sideline off a Tua Tagovailoa pass.
But when Jets safety Malachi Moore went to tackle him, Hill’s left leg twisted brutally underneath him. The television broadcast clearly showed Hill’s leg bending completely the wrong way.
Here is the video (but beware of the graphic content).
Prayers up to Tyreek Hill, man. A serious injury, it looks AWFUL. pic.twitter.com/Tn0yE9qnhT

Hill was immediately attended to by medical staff as players from both teams were visibly distraught. He ended up getting placed in an aircast and being carted off the field.
At 31 years old, the eight-time Pro Bowler Hill is in his fourth season with the Dolphins. His tenure in Miami has largely been marred by allegations of diva behavior to the point that the Dolphins, who are currently 0-3, have even reportedly been attempting to trade him.
Now after four games played with 21 catches for 265 yards, it appears that Hill’s 2025 season is over. Hill is still under contract with the Dolphins for the 2026 NFL season as well, but it may be worth questioning what Hill’s pro career will look like from here after sustaining such a horrific injury during this week’s “Monday Night Football.”
