Tyreek Hill linked to intriguing team in trade rumor

The Miami Dolphins still do not appear poised to make Tyreek Hill available in a trade, but one interesting team could pursue him if that changes.

In a column about trade deadline buzz, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggested that the Pittsburgh Steelers could be in the market for a wide receiver. Fowler wrote that he would be “willing to bet they’d at least have a conversation” with the Dolphins if Hill became available.

The Steelers brought in DK Metcalf in the offseason, but are lacking depth at the wide receiver position. One option, Calvin Austin III, has drawn the ire of Aaron Rodgers recently. Through three weeks, running back Jaylen Warren actually leads the team in receiving yards.

Both Hill and the Dolphins are off to a slow start, which has raised questions about the team’s future as currently constructed. His relationship with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is at least somewhat damaged, and his total of 15 catches for 198 yards through three weeks is poor by his standards.

For now, teams are not really lining up to try to land Hill. Part of that is down to Miami refusing to make him available, but that could change before the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
