Uncle Nate is ‘desperate to help’ Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel

One of Johnny Manziel’s childhood friends is extremely concerned about the former Cleveland Browns quarterback.

Nate Fitch, a friend Manziel met in middle school who later became his manager at Texas A&M, tweeted on Sunday that he has not heard from Manziel and is very worried about him.

I love you brother. I'm desperate to help you. The past week without hearing from you is terrifying. I'm here no matter what. Let me help.

Fitch, whose nickname is “Uncle Nate,” was basically Manziel’s gatekeeper in college. You can read more about their relationship here.

Manziel has been seemingly partying nonstop since the end of the NFL season, so you can understand why Fitch would be concerned. Earlier this week, Manziel said he is unsure if he even wants to play football next season. He was dropped by one of his biggest sponsors that same day.

If you remember, Manziel’s father said a while back that he is concerned Johnny might die if he doesn’t get help. People like to accuse the media of blowing things out of proportion, but the concerns of those close to Manziel say an awful lot.
