Van Jefferson was in huge postgame rush for good reason
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson was in a huge rush to leave SoFi Stadium after winning the Super Bowl. That may sound strange, but Jefferson had a great reason for it.
Jefferson had to grab his daughter and run off the field following the Rams’ 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, and was seen sprinting through the locker room. Jefferson’s wife Samaria went into labor in the middle of the game, and Jefferson was rushing to meet her at the hospital.

Jefferson won’t really be able to take part in the extended celebrations with his teammates, but he’ll probably get over it. His night will be plenty memorable no matter what.
The second-year wide receiver was not a huge factor in Sunday’s win, catching four passes for 23 yards. He did nab six touchdowns during the regular season.
