Vince Young was arrested in Texas on Monday for alleged drunk driving, marking the second time in three years he’s been arrested for DWI.
Police say Young’s vehicle was in a left turn lane with the hazards on when he was approached to be helped.
“The deputy noticed slurred speech and a strong smell of alcoholic beverage,” the Fort Bend County sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Young apparently failed every field sobriety test.
Young was also arrested in Jan. 2016 for driving while intoxicated and pleaded no contest. The former Longhorns star quarterback was the No. 3 overall draft pick by the Titans in 2006. He has not played in the NFL since 2011.
