Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele did not bring dates with them to a formal event that was held for the 2025 Ryder Cup on Tuesday night, but at least they had each other.
Team USA and Team Europe got together on Tuesday night for the Ryder Cup Gala, which is a dinner that was held at the prestigious Hempstead House in Sands Point, N.Y. Most golfers were accompanied by their wives and girlfriends, but DeChambeau and Schauffele went stag.
When it came time to take photos, DeChambeau and Schauffele decided to get cozy with one another. The two Team USA players stood arm-in-arm near the Ryder Cup trophy and happily posed alongside all of the other golfers with their significant others.
You can see the awesome photo here.
DeChambeau is, as far as the public is concerned, single. Schauffele is married, but his wife Maya gave birth to the couple’s son a few weeks ago. That is why Maya chose not to make the trip to the Ryder Cup.
The U.S. is hosting the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, N.Y. Team Europe won the last Ryder Cup two years ago by a convincing final score of 16.5-11.5 in Italy, so Team USA is seeking revenge. There have already been plenty of great storylines leading up to the tournament.
Keegan Bradley is the captain of the U.S. team, so he will decide which golfers play with one another. He may want to consider pairing DeChambeau and Schauffele together after the way they bonded at the Ryder Cup Gala.
