Scottie Scheffler blew the field away at the 2025 Open Championship to win the fourth major of his career, and even his 1-year-old son has to be getting used to winning by now.
Scheffler finished with a score of 17-under at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland, which was four shots better than second-place finisher Harris English. Following the win, Scheffler was once again joined by his wife Meredith and the couple’s young son Bennett.
Scheffler has been completely dominant over the past year. He spoke before The Open Championship about how winning is not what truly satisfies him in life, but the 29-year-old has done plenty of it.
After Scheffler won at Royal Portrush, fans felt even his 14-month-old had a “been there, done that” look to him.

The fact that Bennett is barely over 1 year old and fans have seen so much of him is a great representation of how much success Scottie has had in the last 14 months. Heck, the little guy even appeared to accomplish a huge life milestone while watching his dad win a major earlier this year.
Scheffler and his son are making a lot of priceless memories together, even if Bennett can’t realize it yet.
